I know nothing at all about medals or awards.I picked this up about 4 years ago and it has been in a box in my loft until now.I have tried my best to take close up pictures so if any more pictures are required to evaluate the medal please ask.

I agree with the previous comments, a good, original example by maker '24' - Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Hanauer Plaket-ten-hersteller.
I'm not a packet person but I'm sure Roland is correct with his assessment of this one.

Hello,

Attached is a photo of my makers mark of one of my MM 24. It is slightly different from yours especially the number "2" which is a well defined and round top "2".



The rest of the cross is very similar to my MM24. I am just hung up on the makers mark.

The packet is definitely a poor copy.
