    EK I screwback, rare or fake?

    I have seen this piece in a shop of militaria, what do you think?

            I'd like to learn something. Here is my early Deumer on the right, compared with the cross that started the thread on the left. Did Deumer make a different core earlier in the war, maybe even a different frame? To me, I see differences in the dates of both crosses...

              Hello Robert,

              it could be a Sedlatzek EK I, too. The type of screw back is distinctive for Sedlatzek. But the EK's by this maker have IMO a Deumer front design (frame and number design).
