This boat-made Ritterkreuz for Claus Korth as shown on Helmut Weitz website.

I have seen it "live" and it looks good – as good as a handmade one can look.
In this case you have to buy the story and I can´t see anything that speaks against it.

It really looks like a "homemade" KC but is it the same cross.. IMO not the same cross.

That Cross was up for sale at auction last year(Hermann Historica) with a reserve of 3,000 Euro. It went unsold, and no bloody wonder.

IMO the same cross.
The outline fits perfectly.
The black and the light fields do not, BUT that could be for several reasons; the photo looks retouched, different light (photo vs. Studio Weitze), brand new on the photo vs. tarnished today etc

That is an excellent photo comparison you made.
I think it looks good also.
Although I am more a photo/document collector.

If you look at the photos there is a provenance letter signed
Does anybody know who he is?
And it also says the medal is pictured in the book by Mr. Patzwall.
Anybody have that book?

I would avoid this cross like the swine flu. Here is a side by side of Korth compared to this cross. They look nothing alike IMO.
