EK2 unmarked, the patina makes this beauty almost black, its abit of a stunner. Came with a K&Q packet, which matches the cross comparing it to another mm65... anyone confirm that?

    Thanks for your opinions!

Nice additions Mike and yes, the packet and EK2 do belong together.

Nice crosses Mike, particulary like the EKI (but don't know the maker).
It's like a never ending quest!

yes like a quest for a dkig... well thats one less competitor??

The EK1 has some pretty striking die flaws, which i imagine should be pretty obvious there just not ones iam familar with yet.....

          Thanks Adrian & Ant!

I believe your EKI is an early brass-cored S&L.

                I too think it is a #4 S&L.

The ek2 really is a super cross with a clean perfect core.

Thanks Guys, guess i crashed and burned on the ek1 id... bugger

                      did S&L use different frames/cores?

Cheers Nigel, moment of weakness when Kaus updated his webby

Very nice pieces Mike, and I think S&L used quite a few different frames and cores over the manufacturing time span of these TR pieces!

                          Hi Mike :
Had a good look at it . I can confirm it is a S&L with a re-worked 2nd frame with a bit worn true brass 2nd core that was hand vaulted .
                          Both nice crosses .
