    Splitting up sets...

I'm not sure If I like to do it - but I thought I'd get some opinions...

i.e. if you had a mint EK with a tatty packet, and a tatty EK with a mint packet - would you swap them around? Or keep them together as they were when you found them?

I just think there's no way of knowing if they are from the same source 60 odd years ago...

cant see any problem with swapping em round, like you say, theres no way of knowing if they're original to each other, or if they've already been swapped! as long as makers name on packet matches maker of cross, that is!! -Nigel

I would just keep em the way they are; no reason to perpetuate confusion..JMO.

I see no problem swapping them around, they may well not have started life together anyway, just matched up to sell.
I wouldn't do it if I was going to sell them on however, just if they were to be displayed in my collection.

On another forum, I left a topic to try and find the guy that bought my 7 place medalbar,so i could see about reuniting the bar and the chain, the way I bought it out of Germany.....and I tell you what I was f-ing grilled for it,ya if it came that way I'd say keep it that way.....I would go by those "Gentlemen" for s#$t again.
