    Souval EKII and envelope

Another one I just received. The EKII is an unmarked Souval, but the envelope is a Carl Forester & Graf with the rare LDO stamp. I bought it because of the envelope, paper, and ribbon, at the time I ordered I didn't know who the EK maker was. Jim

    Jim,

Is that a 'dipping 3' core in that EKII? I would appreciate a photo if at all possible, if it is.

      Good morning Robert,

I wondered that same thing when I saw it however I think it's just the viewing angle. Certainly would be unique though if it is. I've never seen one in an EKII frame. I too am looking forward to a straight on photo.

      Regards,
      Stu

          Thanks Jim!

Well, as Stu commented, the angle of the original photo made the '3' look longer than the other numbers. Thank you for going to the trouble. I've yet to see a 'dipping 3' in an EKII Souval.
