    Unusually mounted KVK 2

I've not seen a KVK 2 bar with this mounting style before.

The cross is marked "45" for Franz Jungwirth.

Nor me, it's more Imperial in style but it is nice and I would be happy with it in my collection.

Very unusual, but none-the-less original. Rather a unique one.

The mounting is East European style, there are many examples shown in reference works, but usually of EK2's. The KVK2 in this style I think is more unusual but I have no idea why ? I like it

For me also the first time I see it on a KvK2.
I see no red flags and it looks like the ring has been bended for a nice wear.
                  I really like it

I had always been told it was a southern German style of mounting. We have an original EK2/Wurttemburg bravery medal bar at work that is mounted in the same way. (Sorry for the poor-quality photo - I AM at work, you know! )

                        Interesting KVK2.

Here's a 4y LS plus flowerwar that I used to own mounted in the same style.

The only other TR medal I have mounted in this manner (excluding an Honor Cross for Next of Kin) is this 10 October medal.

                              Very nice.
So my hunt can start for an EK2 with this mounting style !
