EK1 L55 Help pls !!

Salut,

I purchased this EK1 in a brocanteur shop (antiques dealer) in Bretagne.

The chap told me it was a copy, hence the price was only Euro 35,
he also had a good EK2 with a wrong ruban for Euro 120 ...

The construction is in 2 parts with a magnetic core.

L55 Marking, Wachtler & Lange


I tried , sry for the cr*p pic, to capture what looks like the W&L die flaw ?



I am far from being a EK1 expert but to me it looks like a good W & L ?


So should have I listen to him and keep my hard earned cash or was I correct to squander my Euros 35 .

I am very curious to hear your verdict .
