That is the one a saw a few years ago.
At least Alzheimer didn't kick in yet.
Interesting because one of my 109 packets came with such an ek2 as well.

Douglas thought there might have been some connection with 109; distribution of components/contract, etc. - something along that line.

        That would be interesting!
We will just wait till his investigation is done.
Not that I have doubts, but did you check the ring and mark?

I hope you ordered them on a easy to find way.
Or else you are very busy the first 2 weeks!

... The ring is open on this particular cross, but looks just like the other (6) Juncker crosses I have. The mark '09' looks as if it could be something thrown on postwar, OR maybe war period - I don't know. It was red hot when I found it. But, it's really gone nowhere since. Who knows what it represents? The '9' could have been a double strike, making the stamp two 0's, like in '800'.

It doesn't look like a 800 stamp to me.
The 9 is deeper stamped than the 0. So a 109 stamp (wartime or not) would be the most logical.

Maybe time will tell or maybe another one shows up in the future with a similar mark.

I'm hoping. Turn the volume back down and watch the movie with your wife.

                    Allright.
The crossed are 109 and the packet is. 28?????

                    [QUOTE=Adrian;3178926].

These are like the '109' EKs. We know packets exist but no-one can say for sure which is the real '109' as everybody seems to have a different example that came with their packets......
Has anyone seen a marked '28' EK2?[/QUOTEi ght
                    Best regards Thomas.

What I mean is that there is a similar scenario with the maker '109'.
There are packets for EK2s marked for Walter & Henlein but so far no-one can say with any certainty which are the actual '109' EKs because so many different EKs from different manufacturers turn up in these packets and no genuine marked '109' has been found.
I think I'm right in saying that no marked '28' has been seen here on the forum but packets for this maker are known, as per your posts and I don't think Eugen Schmidhaussler is a recognised maker of EKs, so who can say if the EKs you show are definitely from this maker.
