    EK book question

    Hello list,

I have all the other standard Iron Cross reference books in my library, but I've never gotten around to buying 'The Iron Cross of Prussia and Germany' by A. E. Prowse. It's kind of hard to come across at a reasonable price. I'm just wondering... Given that so much has been written since its publication (which I think was 1971), is it worth having for anything other than collectors' value? Does it offer up anything not found in its approximate contemporaries, Bowen and Geißler, both of which I already own?

    Thanks for any input.

I appreciate the clarity of your answer.
I shall wait until I find $300 on the street to buy it then.

I agree with Marshall! Neat for the historical but little else. I am sure BD Publishing will have something out soon anyway...

I almost forgot about the little blue book. It looks like the book that is in the works will be a must buy. If it's anything like the RK book by Dietrich, then it will be the 'gold standard'.
