    I need your help, please!

    Please!
This is my 65'EK I. I'm sorry that there is a gap on the frame!
I hope anybody could tell me how I can deal with it, may I use glue?
    Thanks a lot!

Iam only seeing the last but one photo, the frame would have been soldered, if your like me and rubbish at soldering i'd leave it or seek help. personally i'd leave it alone, it looks like thats the only point of the frame to be parting so its not a major problem

I agree, just leave it as it is. The way it is right now, the core cannot slip out of the frame.

I'm with evilmike and John on this one. Unless the gap is growing wider, I would leave it alone. These pieces don't have to perfect to enjoy them. In fact, the imperfections add character! Age, patina, scuffs, bumps and bruises just make them more endearing to me. It's part of the story they have to tell.

I can't see any pics but I would leave it alone, it will never be as it should be and you will better off buying an undamaged example.

Leave it this way! It would be altering the history if you "repaired" it!
                Nice cross anyway

                Cheers,
                Balázs

I wouldn't worry about it. I have a cross that is like that as well. It still displays good. Just buy yourself a few more that do not have this issue.

If you can find a good Jeweller(not a spelling mistake just Australian) that will not have a problem with it, get them to re-solder it with silver solder.
I stress the point 'good Jeweller' for obvious reasons.

                    Hope that helps.
