The packet is a fake I'm afraid. I personally don't like the hump on the cross and the paint is far too shiny, but I let the experts to tell if it's good or not

I like the cross and the ribbons but agree the packet is a fake. If you are thinking about buying this I would negotiate a vastly reduced price, more in the region of €300 - €350 as a guide for the cross and ribbons.

It is a very nice original and looks like the "thin version" with the special outer corners. Do not know what to call those but it looks like the flanges on the corners have a small ridge. Means they are not flat like the flanges on all other EKII's. Agree with Adrian about the price range.

I would really renegotiate, as I paid $275 - 350 for mine, except Deschler which was almost twice as much. Jim

I think its a nice orignial cross, but the packet, tissue for the cross and button hole ribbon is fake.
