    My SOS Knight's Cross Finds

Well, the show could not have been better for me. First, a friend from Florida sold me a de-nazified Knight's Cross he bought from the son of a veteran. When he got home, he gave me the name and this is the same fellow who sold General Dessloch's denazified Pilot-Observer badge with Brillianrts, which I bought. It is nice to reunite the two pieces.

Next, a forum member asked me if I was still looking fora 3/4 ring Knight's Cross. He walked me to a table where I bought the final Knight's Cross to complete my collection. I asked the owner where he got it and was told he had bought it about 30 years ago when every non-magnet Knight's Cross was considered fake. He knew it must be real because he bought it from an estate with all real items. He saw Dietrich's book and decid4ed it was time to sell now that it was considered authentic. So, I owe another thanks to Dietrich.

        Hi Bob

Nice to see you found a 3/4 öse!
Could you please post another pic of front and back of the piece in natural light as the paint looks strange probably because of the flash.

        Best regards
        Kevin

            Good going.

I guess you can take this off your Autosignature now

I am happy for you, Bob! The 3/4s are ugly, but are charming in a way.

Nice crosses. Lots of character from both.

Can we please see the KC collection?

Having handled this one at the SOS, I'd copy that. Congrat's Bob of finally finding the "missing link" of your RK collection!

                            Bob,

In the original estate sale and purchase, does the buyer recall the other awards that were present?

                              Great Crosses Bob!
The Juncker has had the swaz removed very carefully, no damage to beading that I can see, and you can still see the swaz outline, nicely done IMO. A lot of denaz crosses have damaged beading.
The 3/4 ring is superb also!
