Well, the show could not have been better for me. First, a friend from Florida sold me a de-nazified Knight's Cross he bought from the son of a veteran. When he got home, he gave me the name and this is the same fellow who sold General Dessloch's denazified Pilot-Observer badge with Brillianrts, which I bought. It is nice to reunite the two pieces.
Next, a forum member asked me if I was still looking fora 3/4 ring Knight's Cross. He walked me to a table where I bought the final Knight's Cross to complete my collection. I asked the owner where he got it and was told he had bought it about 30 years ago when every non-magnet Knight's Cross was considered fake. He knew it must be real because he bought it from an estate with all real items. He saw Dietrich's book and decid4ed it was time to sell now that it was considered authentic. So, I owe another thanks to Dietrich.
