Unknown EK 2 Makers

Hello,

Does anyone know if the 1939 EK2 was made by Firm #80 - G.H. Osang, #88 -Werner Redo, or #118 - August Menzs & Sohn.

I am refering the the numbers 80, 88 & 118 being found on the ring.

None of the above were makers of the EK to my knowledge.

Vince, as per Adrians reponse - none of these were EK2 makers. Why do you ask?

according to the pinned manufacturers thread above, both #88 and #118 are both listed as official 1939 EK2 manufacturers.

Hi Lee,
They might be on the list but there is a lack of original examples of both crosses and packets. The list above may not be 100% accurate and covers EK2s and EK1s.
For example '107' - Carl Wild made EK1s but not EK2s.
