    WW1 Ek 2 help needed

    Hi Guys
Have a fast few questions for the Ek2 experts.Just received this in the mail today and have a few questions that need answered. One it appears the EK is a 1 piece ek(i'm used to a 3 piece style).also it looks to have a slight cooperish tint to it.I was told that this is a protective lacquer application used to protest it,and thats why it appears that way.The ring is nicely MM (MFH) .The ribbon doesnt glow under black light. So my question is,is it normal for the ek to be one piece and is there any concern about the copperish tint. Thanks alot in advance.Jay

ps the pictures my not show the cooperish tint

It's an original example and as Kay says, a three piece cross. Nothing there to worry about in my opinion.
