    EK1 Screw Back w/o mm - very special ;-)

    Hello ;-)

The sun is coming out 16°C ;-) For this, I like to show you a very special rare EK1!
Of course all EK1 screw back without LDO maker mark are special and I'm like to know if you guess what maker is behind this cross ;-)
The core is 100% colour covered and "100% Patina" untouched! The condition is unbeatable for this maker! Simply a dream ;-)

It looks like the core has been repainted.

Sorry, but I'm disagree to your statement ;-)
Because it is known that this make repaint like S&L the Core! See two exempels! So what base is your considering? Did you see Wiedmann with colour free frames??? A repainted EK1 looks different to my opinion ;-)

I don't know if you are right - may be ;-)

The usual disc is known like this! Could it be a cary over part ???

Stefan, it is not based on that. The red arrows in the photo below points to what to me is remains of the old paint.

There is no particulare rest of old paint ;-)
But it is very interesting how a foto can play a trick ;-)
Attached you will find a closer look as possible ;-)
There you can see that this is the shape of the number which cause a rim ;-)
I think there is a big advance to hold this cross in the hand to take a colser look;-)

With these new photos i agree with you Stefan, the core paint is original to the cross. This shows how important it is to have high quality photos in order to give a good statement or opinion. Nice cross Stefan.

                        Hello there,

I believe the core was painted after assembly, but is period.
