    RK S&L B type Magnetic

    Hi

This is a magnetic core B type RK- I read in Dietrichs book there are 2 features that set these types aside and a non magnetic core is one. does this apply to ALL 935 b types, is that the overall consensus hands down?

If you are looking for an overall consensus you might never get one. There are a lot of dealer who sell those as an early pre-LDO model.

I think they are post war and I am not alone.

Hi Dietrich, the book sort of did not really say no to the question but in the 935 chapter it did not mention non magnetics, i could be wrong though because i just brisked through it today.

Of all the Steinhauer types. wartime and post-war, this is the only type I am missing.

True, I only mentioned the brass core. The important thing for me was not so much the core, but the frame and the dent row. There are other post war B-Types with iron core.

I woukld not see any reason to think that a 935 with iron core is pre-May 45 and one without is post May 45. The more so when they both hava B-type frame.

Keep it - time will pass and one day they will be real (again)! The interested dealers are working on it as we speak!

I have to confess i did avoid the b type chapter, i know the headache these types can bring people.

to make it more interesting and strange
