      Be very carefull with the prongs. I broke 2 of the 4 from a clasp just like this several days before

              Hi Jon,

              Probably what the previous owner wanted to know as you can see on the scan above. He ended up with a spange which was unmarked, and two broken prongs

              I would never even think of opening a clasp!

                as a side: interesting to see where one prong was chopped to a point, but not all the way through...

                    I would leave it as it is, as you might destroy it further while trying to repair it.

                      As I can see my warning came too late
                      And the worst: The guarantee is out of time, and Deumer will not change the clasp for another one in perfect condition.
