EK 1 1939 maker 7 with box - Fake or real?

    Dear Sirs
I am planning to buy my first EK1. Having a good eye for this one with marker 7 stamp on.
Do you see any warnings on the cross or the box?
    Best regards
    Lars

Very good look from the photos provided! Meybauers 7 stamp was very poor looking in alot of cases, and from this photo provided it looks like a 7! His later pin set up also!
The core paint looks great on this, Most Meybauers have Veining to some degree or bubbling, lifting and or paint loss. As the others state better photos are needed.. but IMO it is looking good!

Almost forgot the Etui! It also has good chances however photos of the inside and all sides would be helpful! Ask the seller for good clear photos of the cross and Etui...

Mark has posted a great example of My favorite makers cross! Many that are marked you will see the upper part of the 7 is enlarged or deformed! Marks piece is a great example of the core paint having veining which makes the cross look like it has a Heart and that it has high blood pressure! LOL!!!

                              Hello,

I do not have got any problem regarding its originality.
For me a fine Meyerbauer cross.
