    wooden RK wall hanging

Take a look at this- item 2279 - I spotted it while looking for EKs....... I purchased the K&Q 65 cased cross, but this item is really eyecatching. I have to post a link to the website, as posting links to individual items dosnt always work

As the dealer says, it is unknown when it was made, and the price is reasonable for a modern made piece (judging by the rest of the items on the site, this is likely modern as well). I've never heard of this site, but it's populated with about 90% fake items IMO.

its an interesting item, but with something like this, theres no way of knowing when it was made, we all know how many fakes & repro's there are around, so i would'nt take a chance on it myself -Nigel

You are right about the fakes - having spoken to this guy on the phone about an item I retured, I get the feeling he's not so much dishonest, just not as clued up on TR items as he thinks he is. I think I'm on safe ground with the K&Q EK though.

The K&Q EK1 looks good, but I am not knowledgeable on the cases....perhaps one of the case experts could chime in?.

                EK1 case

The case is absolutely fine. I have the identical type that my mm65 came in.

                Regards,

                  From the item description:

"maker maked with the number 65 stamped into the fixing pin, this is for the firm of Franke & Co, Ludenscheld"

The EK does look good to me - I've got a couple K+Qs to compare - but the firm is wrong in the description. Not that it makes a difference...
                  Best regards,
