strange mm on Meybauer EK1?

Have you ever seen a "7" stamped in this position? Is it all right this way?

The cross is a Maybauer and the marking looks like a '7' so I don't think you have too much to worry about. I've also seen the markings stamped upside down on Maybauer crosses.
