    3 ek2: 2, 8, 47 - fake mm????

    Hello,

These 3 EK2 arrived in a big lot of german awards. But, I don't like these numbers in the ring: 2, 8, 47

    Some opinions, please,

    Regards,

    Schmidt

There was a german dealer, which sold a lot of original EK II's with suspect maker mark's (2, 5, 8, ...)
I believe your EK's are by this dealer.

        Regards

        Daniel

All of the crosses look like original examples but I agree with Daniel that the makers marks are very suspect.
Juncker didn't mark their EK2s with the number '2' and the cross isn't by Juncker, I've never seen what I believe to be a genuine '8' stamp on an EK2 and the final one which I'm reading as '74' - Carl Maurer & Sohn was not a recognised maker of EKs.

That's how I see them also.

I agree with Daniel and Adrian on this.

and '8' looks like it 'could' be a repaint - very glossy and up into the beading.
