Another nice bronze cross, in near mint condition. I would say it is an unmarked Deumer .

the cross retains same details as the "835" marked silver cross, except for the pin/hinge/catch. Deumer, Zimmermann and Godet used the same type of pin/hinge on their EK1/KVK1. Zimmermann has a total different design for its eagles on its spansih crosses. On another hand, Deumer L/11 marked crosses show eagles with 3 cut out and not 2 as on this one. So, could it be the long time searched Godet cross? until more proof, I stick on Deumer, but I let the door open to more opinion/discussion.

When observing, it appears that few manufacturers used similaries dies.

ie. Steinhauer & Luck and Deumer have the same design for their crosses (swords details) but different eagles.
Could it be possible that Godet used same spanish cross die as Steinhauer and Deumer (same swords grips details), with quite the same eagles as Deumer except for the cut out ? I don't think so because Steinhauer and Deumer were located in Lüdenscheid, instead of Godet which was in Berlin.

Did the Godet factory in Berlin survive the war?
