The worst part is he used everyone in this thread to authenticate it rather than doing his own research before trying to sell this. There is nothing illegal here, but it is pretty morally bankrupt.

@ Luud : If you all call it a fake, then I will happily withdraw it from e-stand. I have posted on WAF and other forums just to make sure its an ok one.

@ Richard V : Sorry if it feels like I used the forum members, but thats not the case. I have purchased some items in my earlier years, and they turned out to be are fakes. They ended up in the bin, given away or sold as repro. When I posted this thread, I did not have the intention to sell the item, just wanted to make sure its an ok one, seeing the number of high end faked these days. But as all of you are so quickly have judgded me, whats the point in trying to convince you ...

@ The other members : I am quite a new member to this forum, with the intention to learn more about the items in my collection. If you want to put this thread in my sales thread, I cannot stop you from doing it. It just find the things I'm reading about myself unfair. I'm not a dealer, not the intention to make " a quick turnover " or cheat anyone ... Some items can stay, other items have to go.
I used to have an almost complete collection of EK2's, but due to personal & family circumstances they had to go. Now still, if I find a nice item, I buy it, but another piece ( or pieces ) has to go ... thats the way I do it now.
I did not want to cheat the vendor ( and I dont think I have ), he should have done his research as well. And what if it turned out to be a fake .... then you could have all laughed at me and had your fun ... is that what you are after ???

Dont think anything what I say will matter what you think of me, seems you have made your judgment already ... .

Edit : I've priced this one based on what I found dealer sites. In view of your comments about the condition, have adapted my price now.

OMG I cant believe what I'm reading. Everybody would buy it for that price, but the difference is that they would all be quiet about what they payed for it. Also they wouldnt sell it in that instance they bought it, they would wait few months so that all forget about it, and then they would sell it for the right price. Guys please dont lecture how one should take care of himself, I'm sure that nobody of you will do that instead.
For me it is an OK EK and what you do with it is OK for me

Ok ... following some "gentle persuasion" by other forum members & my own ignorance I shall reduce the price of the round 3 EK2 to 165 €.

The new buyer will have a nice deal.
I can't believe that it is not gone yet! It is very hard to find them cheaper at Dealers!

Regarding the selling price:
It is just what someone wants to pay for it.
I sold 7 R3 ek2's last month to some friends between 140-180 euro.
And I feel much better about it than that I would try to get the Jackpot on the e-stand.
But that is just me.
