    Would you pay £70 for this EK1?

    Just seen this EK1, not the best of condition.

    Here's the description and some photos:

    "WW2 IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS. broad pin, flat form marked L /18 (BH MAYER of PFORTZHEIM) in poor condition little finish remains One piece stamling. Probably Tomback. Silverred and blackened It is suggested Mayer made them for Uboat service What makes it original is the detailed pebbeled finish to the front surfaceFew makers did this but Mayer was one Also a high swastika.Fair condition."

    I really want an EK1, but I'm wondering whether is worth saving another 100 or so!

                I know what you guys mean, it wouldn't be a particularly attractive addition to my collection! I wonder if I could convince them to reduce it by about 90%....
