    Can this be?

    Hello friends,

Is this configuration possible? Has anyone seen this done before?
    Thanks,
    Vince

If I'm not mistaken, that is the 1957 version of the EK2 spange (note the oak leaves instead of a swastika). As for its originality, I don't know - I will let the experts decide, as I know nothing about how to tell if these are real or fake.

        Hi John,

Both pieces are origonals. My question is, is it kosher for them to be worn together this way. A 57 spange on the 1914 EK. I assume so as it essentially replaces the 1939 spange by 57 laws.

Yes, everything is fine. The 1957 spange substitutes the ilegal 1939 one. Thats all.

In any case, probably a short time ago someone added the recently purchased and poorly made 1957 spange to the aged cross.
