Please, some opinions on this L54 screwback EK1.

Hi guys,

Im thinking of buying this cased screwback L54 EK1. in LDO case. I have a question, is that right how the LDO letters are written on the inside of the case ? and what is your opinion on the EK it self ? its going for 900$ australian dollars, its not too bad if u look at prices on the collectors guild.... here are some pictures ;

I can't help on the case Les but I believe the cross to be an original example.

The case is a late war (1944-45) 3rd pattern LDO Screwback case. It and the cross are original.

Second Pattern cases have the LDO logo in gold

the cross we had in the case was mint, mabye always in there, a worn cross can be added to the box... looks great!
