    3 more Ek2's (part 2)

Here are three more to review with your comments please.
All three cores are magnetic. Frames and loops are not. The center cores move on all three. They are all maker marked. The right is marked 44, Jakob Bengel, middle is marked 1, Deschler & Sohn and the right is marked 21, Gerb. Godet.

The Bengal and Deschler crosses look fine but I would like to see good, clear close shots of the '21' and particularly the makers mark if possible?

As Adrian said the '44' & '1' look fine, but sorry, but that is not a Godet '21' cross....
It looks more like a '27'.

That's a 27 yes... 21 vs 27, its not impossible to misunderstand those numbers, just remember that the mark on the Godets are totally different from the 27s.
No straight areas on the Godet numbers, just numbers on the ring... if you know what I mean.
However, I do not know if these makers used other tools to make the mm on their crosses, my guess is, they only used the same tool or the same design but what do I know, I didn't witness the production

I really wonder what happened to the paint on that 44... it really got a nice salty feel.

Here are a couple more pics of the cross in question. After viewing the maker mark I now believe it is MM27.
