L/13 EK1 spange

I have seen this kind of spange in old threads but I couldnt find some real opinions. The front looks good, so do the makers mark, but how about that ugly catch and needle?

This particular piece came through our boards before...

The concensus was that it had 'replaced' hardware.

thanks, yes its the same spange and I still dont have it but plan to own it if the price is right.
