    Need Help on EKII Pricing

    Hello,

I was hoping someone could tell me a price range for the following EKII. I bought it on this site a while back from a guy in Germany who I suppose is allowed to sell such items legally.

It has no maker stamp. I think it looks to be in great condition. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to get fleeced when I sell it.

    Thanks!

it appears to be a nice W&L cross, full frosting. Unmarked crosses tend to cost less then a marked, also harder to sell. I usually sell similar for around $100.

A good, original W&L. Daniel has given you a good idea of the price but you could also check the estand and see what EKs are selling for there.

Yes, it's a really sweet, original Wächtler & Lange. Looks just like mine. They're probably one of my favorite EK2 makers.

Thanks for the input everyone. It is greatly appreciated. Without knowledge about who the maker is, etc., I was having trouble pinning down a price in the e-stand area.

Ebay also wasn't that helpful as it seems there weren't many sold on there. Is that because of their policies regarding old Nazi items?

            A nice cross perhaps $100 max. I prefer them at $80 - 90.
It's madness selling very typical EK2s for $140, but thats just my humble opinion

Yes! Ebay is not a good place to get an idea of current market value. If it was, everyone's fakes would be worth a fortune!
Use the estand or dealers websites to get a general idea of current market value but be aware that some dealers sell their items for a premium price which may not reflect the true value. If you look at a few sites and see an average price emerging you should know where to aim in terms of value.
