I sure like the Date on the example Ben posted as opposed to this example, I am no expert AT ALL but see difference in the dates, Would like to see the Swastika.
And ben is right that no two seem to be alike! What are the measurments of yours Ben? Tough call! Best of Luck in your search mdj!

It looks pretty ok judgeing from the pic, these ones are pretty hard to judge since they are made a little bit sloppy to begin with. Do yo have any close-up pics? And one on the swaztika?
On this pic there are a couple of different types.

I personally like the way of 'chaotic' stitching on the reverse....It looks like the one JG51 posted on the picture in the right bottom corner.

I also believe that no EK1 cloth is exactly the same, so that makes it very tough indeed....

It stands a chance looking at the construction compared to Ben's example but who can say for sure? Although it is a fact genuine cloth EKs exist I would personally be very unsure of any of them unless it came with unquestionable provenence or from a collector who I trust.

A good indicator for an original cloth EK is the aged silver-twine (white powder).
The same effect you can find on cloth DK's.

The fakes have only silver-twines in very good conditions.
