For sure, a cross we don't see often. Interesting to see the stitching (large distance between the holes) and the original price (5 DM must have been expensive at the time).
What comes after the word "Großkampf"? Perhaps the name of the owner?
I look forward to know more from the recipient as well

the seller will be able to shed more light on this, when he replies I will add that in this thread.
It's not Grosskampf, but Grafkampf-Rode or something similar, the awardee has a double name.
Should have printed it out right away
