    My first RK

This is what arrived for me in the post today. It is an early manufactured 1957 Knights Cross in worn condition with what I believe may be a WWII ribbon. 3 part construction, magnetic iron core, frame marked '800' on the reverse.

Thanks to Neil Howes and Pascal for making this purchase possibly!

          Congratulations!
I'm sure Dietrich will be all over you for some shots of the minor flawing!
A beautiful S&L frame and early core.
And, yes the ribbon looks original.
          Nice pick up!
          Regards,
          Dave

I'm glad you got that nice RK, and I apologize for not getting back to you with my opinion when you asked me about it some days ago.
            Good deal!

              Hi Kurt and George,

              Thanks for the comments.
@Kurt, Dietrich has contacted me and I will do my best to get him some scans for your heated debate
@George, no problem, I realise that you are busy. In the end I got an opinion from Gordon too, so thanks to him for his advice as well!

                Nice one David.

I've been looking for an early '57 RK myself. I hope that I can find as sweet a looker as you've got. I already have one of the more recent manufactures and you can certainly see the quality difference.

                  David, congratulations!

Well, well, what do we have here.... an early '57 RK with flawed rims. Enough said.

                    Congratulations my friend
This is indeed a very nice example of an early S&L. Well done.

It was a pleasure for me to be of any help in acquiring this nice RK.

                    Keep it safe!!

                      Hi All,

Thanks again for the comments...just to add something, if I am correct I believe that there are die flaws on most of the arms, both front and back. However, I am sending some pictures to Dietrich for posting in the S&L thread.
