    My first cased EKI 1939

I just want to show off my first EK I. It has 4 stamped on the back of the pin(S&L I believe) and has lots of nice patina all over it.
Case is original to the piece but I haven't seen a lot of this type of interior before. Reading Gordon's Iron Cross book I found a similar case interior but with an EK I 1914 cross made during the 3rd Reich.
Any comments about this case or cross ?

    Kris.

    Hi Kris,

I don't see anything wrong with either the case or the cross. I think you have a nice first-time cased EK1 - congratulations!

Is that a flaw in the beading on the three o'clock arm.

        Hi Kris,

congratulations, very nice cross. My first cased was a "4" too, it´s a very nice piece to start.

        Happy collecting!
