This thread to create a database of photos please no inflammatory comments. Those rare pieces actually dated would be especially useful.

57 SLs also VERY welcome.

I think it would be useful to create a single source of SL RKs all in one thread. Especially useful would be full obverse and of course the three o'clock arm.

Much has been made of these crosses and the flaw and I think the answer was on another thread all the time.

Feldwebel Anton Kreuzberg received his RK on 21.9.44 WITH a slight flaw. Richard Gordon could you post a picture please?

This means there was NO miraculous healing of the die. Period.

I can't make out ANY flaws on the arm. How's it look to you under a loop. Maybe the pic just doesn't show them.

It's pointless showing Allan's '57 cross as it's not from an original S&L die! Note the ring dips into the top arm so it is obviously made from a different die than the original wartime S&L's.
