Stewy, that is a great looking cross!!!! I don't own a cloth German Cross, but this is certainly one I too would be proud to have in my collection.

Nice cross, and you will see others that have the swaz. not perfectly centered within the wreath.

As far as makers go, I don't know that we know which firms made these with the exception of the 'HS' marked cloth crosses. 'HS' is for the firm of...Hermann Schmuk and Cie.

Perhaps Dietrich will add a bit of information regarding the manufacturers of the cloth crosses with the publication of his much anticipated German Cross book.
