    Unusual KVKII

I've had this KVKII for about 20 years and have no idea as to it's authenticity. I posted on the political forum in an ongoing thread about Spanish made bits and Bob's but was recommended to post it here for better advise.

It's larger than normal, appears to be die struck (Not cast) and makes a nice metallic "ping" when struck (gently!) is it Spanish made, a pre LDO piece or just junk, bearing in mind that 20 odd years ago these were worth the price of a packet of cigarrettes, so why fake them?

    Any advice appreciated

    regards

    Alex

Edit forgot to add it's compared with a known original

spanish made pieces ive seen before have had a flat, plain reverse, with a seperately applied wreath, so unless theres variants, i dont think its spanish made!!

Hi Ben I presume it's a fake (Which I always suspected) there are some very sad people out their that would go through the time an effort to fake something that were two a penny, it must have cost more to produce the fake than buying an original piece.

        Thanks for the input

        regards

Alex, I am not saying taht it is a fake.
I can't judge it because I know next to nothing about KVK's.

But almost everything that was produced in ww2 has been faked by now...

          Best regards,

          ben
