    fake or not fake? EK2

    Hi, I`m trying to do this right.. My first time doing this... I`ve got this cross from my father who lives in Belgium... This cross is non magnetic and has the size of 44 mm..
    My question are... fake or not fake.... Best regards: Christian....[IMG][/IMG]

    Hi Christian,
    Welcome to the forum, unfortunately this EK is a fake. Compare the beading on yours to an original and you will see the difference.

                    Thank`s , I really see the difference between the two crosses.... And yes I`m a beginner of this iron cross collection.... I have some good friends who tries to teach me about the subject.... You know who you are.....And again thank`s for the help whit my Fake cross.... Best regards: christian....

                      dont let this put you off, there are lots of nice, original iron crosses on dealers sites and hopefully not too exspensive, pick a reliable, trusted dealer and stick with him at least to start with!

                          Adrian-Very nice way to compare a fake with an orinigal! In this way the differences are more than obvious! Terrible reproduction by the way!
