Are we not to look for distinctive oval mounting spots for both the hinge and catch on original L/15 Otto Schickle KVK's? There are many postwar fakes stamped L/15.

I would say a nice Floch Fake...

I agree, a Floch fake. Look at the following features:

1) Rough marks on pin surface,
2) Very rough-looking catch,
3) Finish on cross obverse does not look right,
4) L15 mark, with each letter and number a different size,
5) Floch type "B" pin (I think - better photo needed to be sure)...

All of these features, combined, equals FLOCH
