EK2 two piece stamped core

I just came across this picture of a WW1 EK2 that has a two piece stamped metal core. Would this indicate TR era manufacture? Does anyone out there have a picture of a 1939 two piece stamped core? I am posting this here instead of Imperial because I am interested in how this applies to TR era EKs. Thanks! Ausgang

It is an old thread and unfortunately the pictures have been lost but it may go some way to answering your question.

Yes, they were used mainly in ek1.

Souval however also used these in his post-war kc's...
