              You'll notice too, Tom, that there is considerable hand filing/finishing to the edges of the reverse. Mine is less severe, but is a trademark of this firm.

                Hi Robert,

                Yes, that was the first thing I noticed when I picked up the cross. At first I questioned it because I have never seen such beveling before on an EK1, but you can see that this was all done by hand and quite detailed. I love that aspect of the craftmanship.

                  Stumbled upon this thread because I came across an Orth ek with non-magnetic core.
                  But this one has some white metal core instead of a brass core.
                  Does anyone else have one of those???
