The two things that stand out to me the most on the Klein copy posted are the poor attempt at making the die flaw, and the date. I think if the reverse was not artificially darkened the pin would look more inviting. The rivets, if not for the fact that we are comparing them to the badge that we believe to be original, would look fine standing alone. I'm of the opinion that the opening cross is original, but it's good to be 100% certain, in my way of thinking, before sending someone off to purchase something in the 2K+ category.
