Thats really intresting because, the cross originally posted, is different in a few ways to the K&Q's ive had or seen. Thats cool. Thinner beading, it is thinner than normal ones right? or is that just me

don-zamo: It certainly seems to be thinner yes (beading) I don't know if its an illusion because the pictures is taken from an angle..

it looks like the paint is covering the corner beading as well. Repainted?

Yes, I agree, and I think it's the light catching just the tips (tops) of the numbers.

Ah yes thats true, its probably just an illusion. I hate it when photos are taken at an angle because you cant get a clear view, and I always think sellers are trying to hide something when they do, but thats just me

Im not sure if it has been repainted, there is something on the rear of the cross which suggests some brush stroke if you look carefully, or am i looking too hard?

Also, I have noticed in my photo work, the beading turns out 'fatter' when photographed close-up. The further you are from the cross with your lens the thinner the beading appears.

I don't see anything which raises flags on the reverse. I'd buy it if it wasn't with the packet. And, you never know whether or not the pasty will remove any paint either. That's always a problem, and one to ask about before shipping.

Ill remember that Robert, its just that I never take photos from a distance, always close up detailed shots, so, id never have known that Cheers!

I took the liberty to use the pictures, to place these crosses together.
The picture from don-zame is also taken from an angle, so its comparable..
Let me know if owners want it gone, no problem

many similarities here, the date, where the date is placed, the jump ring size..and parts of the beading is clearly covered with paint, making it thinner from some distance.

The cross to the right seems to have more round inner corners though... what do you guys think?

Using my picture is fine with me mate no worries atall.

Im glad youve done that, because, they doo look similar, ish.

But, im still have doubts about that cross you know, the beading doesnt look centered in the middle, like my cross. It looks to be off, like this.

Look at the centre 1870 bit (i know the cross is fake), its off at an angle.

I think we can say for sure only with a nice clean picture of the cross

Thanks for the reaction. I make the choice to not buy the EK2, because it was allready sold.

                            But thanks for the reaction.

And something else, the seller said the package matched by the EK, but that isn't

well, if it is a W&L packet as Robert said, I can't read it, its too small, and I have no idea about packets, but its NOT a W&L ek2
