    1939 EK2 ...can it be O"K" ?

    Hello all....

I recently picked this one up in my travels and the maker mark appears to be a "K"...as far as I know it is not a modern fake as the guy received most of his items from vets, but who knows...anybody ever seen this on an '39 EK2?

There ya go...I made my own macro lens with a magnifying glass who needs modern equipment, not me, a 5 dollar magnifying glass and a sony floppy disk mavica that works about 25 percent of the time is fine for me.

              John,

The ribbon and the cross look good to me, but I've not seen that maker's mark yet.

                    Friedrich Keller?
But that's a wild guess because it is the only manufacturer beginning with a 'K'.

I've seen one before, but I can't recall it anymore...

                    Cheers,
                    Martin

Thats a new one, but that big lump of solder on the ring looks odd.
                      Regards

If it is a '66' the maker mark should be stamped onto the join of the ring as seen in every example posted on the forum. This leads, in some cases, to a big lump on the join.
Perhaps John and his trusty magnifying glass and dodgy camera can post an obverse and reverse shot of the join on the ribbon ring?

                          Hello everybody:

Thank you to all that contributed.

I am not home now, but when I get home I will post pictures of the join in the ribbon ring.

                          Kindest Regards,

                          John
