mystery spangen ID'd at last?

Hi
I've always called this spange of unknown maker 'Big Eye'
To me, it is the only unknown maker, and unmarked EK2 spangen...

So I was interested when Bob Hritz found this 'Big Eye' spange in a packet, but marriages can also be made in hell...

But today I see another!
coincidence?
btw, I have never seen this spangen in any other packet...

now to get confusing
a few other spangen have been found in Ziemer & Sohne packets...
the printing on these packets is slightly different, and the spangen found in them seem to be repro (i'm awaiting one for closer inspection)

so are the 2 at the top of the thread original 'Ziemer & Sohne'?
and these following one's fake in fake packets?

I agree that posts 1,2,3, and 4 are the original Ziemer spanges and packages.

Those in posts 5,6 and 7 are reproduction spanges and packages, in my opinion.

sometimes it takes years of looking and cross-referencing these suckers to find just a few clues, hail the internet!

I'm hesitant to say fully case closed as yet, but looks pretty good to me

Just reading over this thread as I was matching orig and fakes with their pictures .
Post 10 sums up umongst other things : Spange + Packet in post 3 is original .
Post 5 are reproduction Spange and Packet .
Do not both posts show the same Packet ??? Is the reverse maker mark a fake on an orig packet ? ..... or just a mis-referance ? As the one shown in post 8 is not mentioned at all in post 10 - but I asume to be a total fake then ?
