I ran across a KVK 1 today. it looks like a good L/11 with taper pin and hinge plate set in recess. The thing is not a scrap of silver wash on it. If it were a KVK2 it would be perfect bronze color. Not even a scrap of wash on the pin or hinge. Has anyone ever ran across something like this? I would think if it were end of war and did not make it to the silver plate tank, it would be zink. Any help app. They are asking 80$ for it.

The catch looks like a tombak Deumer's catch, the pin and hinge does not. The maker's mark looks fairly good, although could be a bad stamp - better photos are needed for this, IMO. The badge could be an original tombak Deumer badge with a repaired hinge and pin, possibly.
