    Help! With Knight's Cross case

Hello All! Has anyone out there ever heard of a Knight's Cross case measuring 72mm wide, 146mm long and weighing 94 grams?
I ask because I'm holding it and attempting to identify it! A Knight's Cross fits perfectly, materials look right but it's only 72mm wide!!
I can email photos to someone who will post them to the forum and maybe we will get a hint as to what this is!
    Thanks,
    Dave

Dave, OK that one rings a bell! I know a British collector (whose name escapes me at the moment) who had a batch of cases made up for his RKs that were identical to original, except for being a bit narrower...where did you get this one?

Hey Andy...from an obscurely worded Ebay auction for $30.! Couldn't go too far wrong for the price. And, my first impression was 'wow very nice!' and then it was 'hold on a min.!' It's well done, aged naturally but just 6mm shy!

        Dave,
Whats the hinge like on the back of the case?
Is the hinge covered in black leatherette?

Hi Allan...it's not, nor does it appear it ever was. Additionally, it looks to be steel rather than the 'brassy/gold' type metal.

These sound like the cases made by Tony Yeomans (Muller Militaria) in the UK. They are excellent quality and the only real fault is that they are too narrow. They are offered together with the card outer carton.
