2nd class spange

Hi, have just purchased a 2nd class spange and wondered if the 4 loops on the back are common or rare. The only spanges I have seen have prongs or a pin back. Any comments? Regards.

i sure have seen the 4 pin backs. but i cannot tell if they are rare or not.
if u have the chance to, it was published under the book "History of the 1939 Iron Cross" or something...by John Williamson.
