        Hmmm, it's a Souval cross......

        There are 2 possibilities IMO:
        Replaced hardware,

        or: Postwar production....

        Best regards,
        Ben

Is it just the light or is the swaz really deformed/not very sharp around the edges? I thought that meant fake?

May be the light + the remaining paint, but the chances that this ek is post-war is 50/50 IMO

            Regards,

Ok, maybe a broken down core die also can add to it..

IMO an one piece fake from an original Souval.
The backside looks like a mould fake.

                Regards

I agree and I bet it would bend very easily.

                        Many Thanks!

Really, the pictures are very bad..

they told me that "this unmarked, lightweight, one-piece construction Iron Cross, as pictured on page 151 of The Iron Cross of 1939 by Gordon Williamson".
But the picture of the front is horrible!!!

Souval or Orth never produced one-piece EK's.
I don't know page 151 of The Iron Cross of 1939 by Gordon Williamson, but I really believe there are many differents.
