What details tells you about the maker of this cross?
and how many makers did not marked the crosses, and why?

Check this part of the forum:

          http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/iron...hauer_Luck.htm

Take a picture and start comparing.
I can only tell you: it is a long way to go...
I start comparing with the cross it's dates, position of the dates, ring attachment, swas, frame and if it cross-hatched or so.
It is too much to tell in a little thread.
          Practice and try!
I try every cross that turns up for identifying here and guess what?
Most of the times I am wrong!
          But maybe, one day...

Crosses are Präsidial marked, LDO marked or (and I think that is for most of the crosses) not marked at all.
All makers have produced unmarked crosses.
          Why?
          Negligence, I guess...

          Best regards,
          Martin
